- Reduced normalized emissions of greenhouse gases by more than 50% over the previous five years. This information was published in the annual Global Climate Protection Plan addressing AMD’s commitments, goals, and strategies for reducing impacts on global warming
- Globally, employees volunteered more than 16,000 hours, donated more than 1,200 units of blood, and AMD contributed more than $3 million in corporate grants for education and basic needs initiatives in local communities where AMD operates worldwide
- Implemented dozens of Learning Labs in high-growth markets as part of AMD’s 50x15 initiative for digital inclusion, which is aimed at connecting half of the world’s population to the Internet by 2015.
